Katterat is the third railway station, from Narvik, on the Arctic railway, north in Nordland county. You can only reach Katterat with the train. Katterat Guest House is the natural starting point for a trip into a wild but beautiful area full of alpine peaks and glaciers. The local tourist union have a system of huts.
